Jane is an International Development Practitioner specialising in market systems, value chain and enterprise development. She has over 25 years working experience in Eastern, Western, and Southern Africa in shelter, agribusiness and youth and women empowerment initiatives. Jane has vast experience working at management and operational levels with private, public and development sectors, developing and delivering strategies, building capacities and programmes for inclusive growth.


Jane is currently working with Habitat for Humanity International as the Regional Director, Markets Systems and Entrepreneurship heading the African region. 


Previously Jane worked with Practical Action heading the Regional Markets and Livelihood Development programme covering the Eastern African Region, Kenya Gatsby Trust leading the Business Development Services programme, FIT Resources (An International Labour Organisation) programme as a Projects Officer, Enterprise Development Agency as a Project Officer, The Association of Makers and Exporters of Gift and Allied Articles (AMEGA-Kenya) as Programme officer and Kate Holdings Ltd. She has also successfully undertaken assignments as a private consultant supporting set up, growth, and investment attraction for enterprises across Africa, this is besides being an entrepreneur herself.
