| Complies with the relevant statutory laws and regulations, and the expectations of all stakeholders including customers, suppliers, contractors, and industry regulatory and legislative bodies. |
The above shall be achieved by:
| Providing and maintaining a healthy and safe working environment for all employees. | |
| Implementing the compliance requirements in tandem with all the provisions of the Occupational Safety and Health Act, 2007 and its subsidiary legislations. | |
| Providing access and regular training to staff members for understanding and implementation of this policy. | |
| Developing and maintaining documented safe work procedures and facilitate records for reporting of incidents and accidents. | |
| Setting and reviewing Health and Safety objectives and targets and developing Key Performance Indicators. | |
| Providing monitoring of the performance of this policy by conducting regular internal and external health and safety audits. | |
| Providing a reasonable budget for the organization’s health and safety requirements. | |
| Allowing and promoting communication within the company in order to continually improve the working conditions of the employees. | |
| Encouraging dialogue with stakeholders and the community on health and safety matters. |
